Aspirant Canyon Leader is the first level of recreational recognition in the ACA. You will be assessed on Core (Level 1) and Aspirant (Level 2) skills. (Skills checklist can be found here https://canyoneering.net/resources/) IMPORTANT NOTE: To be clear, THIS IS NOT A WORKSHOP. It is an assessment. There will be no instruction or review of any skills or techniques. If you sign up you must be competent with the Core (Level 1) and Aspirant (Level 2) skills.

This will be an open practice session without a specific agenda to work on any skills that the participants would like to practice. We can get a group consensus on the skills that we would like to practice. Topics can include an item from the ACA Skills checklists such as passing a knot, rigging and anchors, rappelling, self-rescue, knots or other topics that the group chooses.
