Whether wet or dry\, deep and or wide\, these bizarre sandstone features have thwarted many canyon adventures. \nJoin Excursions of Escalante for an introduction to potholes and begin learning the skill sets required to master these human traps. Escalante is blessed with canyon “keepers” of nearly every shape\, size and challenge imaginable. This allows participants to spend the entire day experiencing (not simulating) the true variety of pothole “problems” that exist in the wild. \nWe have an 8 Student Maximum to ensure that students get the most focused and safest training possible. ***You MUST HAVE solid rope skills and be a confident swimmer to participate in this course! NO EXCEPTIONS. \nThe day begins at 7:30AM and end around 3:30pm-4:30pm. Students should plan to be with us for a minimum of 8 hours. \nPrerequisites: Completion of Technical Canyoneering Course or equivalent experience. This course is not geared for beginner canyoneers.
